Common questions
How long does a garage floor take?
Most 2- and 3-car garages with our Polyaspartic Full-Flake system are finished in one day. You can walk on it that evening and park on it in about 24 hours. Metallic and commercial systems usually take 2–3 days.
What's the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?
Epoxy is a great, affordable coating, but it cures slowly and standard epoxy can yellow and fade in sunlight. Polyaspartic cures fast, stays flexible, resists hot-tire pickup and is UV-stable, so it won't yellow when your garage door is open. We use each one where it performs best.
How do you prepare the concrete?
With industrial diamond grinders connected to HEPA dust collection. Grinding opens up the concrete so the coating bonds mechanically. It's the #1 thing that separates a professional floor from a peeling DIY kit. We never acid-etch.
Will it be slippery?
Flake and quartz floors have natural texture. For extra grip, we can add an anti-slip additive to the topcoat. We recommend it for patios, pool decks and anywhere that gets wet.
